They can come true in Tagaytay Highlands
Raymart and Claudine Dream Wedding at Tagaytay Highlands
By weddinginthesky.com
Weddings never fail to enchant women and even men (whether they admit it or not!). While we all look forward to meeting the perfect man (or woman), the dream of having the most perfect wedding almost
always overshadows anything else. Such are weddings at the Highlands. Many happy couples can attest
to this. While some of the best hotels in Manila boast of fancy linen;
crystal chandeliers or tiffany chairs, Highlands offers the serenity and
sheer magnificence of nature as the perfect backdrop for the wedding
– an “amenity” that cannot be duplicated nor bought.
Such was the wedding of the young celebrity couple Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto just recently. They have all the means to have THE perfect wedding – in any place they fancy. Hence, it was a privilege to have been chosen as venue for what the entertainment industry touted as THE wedding of the year. Contrary to what was expected from public personalities, however, the couple insisted on having a very private union – and a private union they got. Privacy and exclusivity, afterall, are Highlands’ basic dictum.
The young and unassuming couple are such joy to work with. They are very hands on – making sure that every minute detail is attended to. The groom actually did a “walk-through” all by his lonesome at least four times (!). Making sure, perhaps, that he is able to lead his bride and guide her every step of the way towards the beautiful gazebo that would stand as silent witness to their exchange of vows. They both sat through lengthy planning sessions – mingling and talking to the Club’s staff, giving their own suggestions when they could have very well left everything to the
master of wedding planning, no less than Ms. Rita Neri herself. Claudine's Wedding March Giving of one’s time to something of great value and importance does
have its rewards. The Santiago-Barretto union proved to be THEIR REAL
DREAM WEDDING. It was private, solemn, fun and enchanting – just
like in the movies. This time, however, it was for real. No cuts, no eyedrops
or mentholated ointments were required – theirs were pure tears of joy and
happiness.
On this note, we have great news to those aspiring to have a grand Highlands
wedding of their own. The Wedding Chapel will soon open its doors to
couples who dream of only the best beginning for their lifelong union. This
will be located just a stone’s throw away from the Midlands Golf Clubhouse,
and commanding a sweeping view of Taal Lake and the Batangas countryside.
Hence, all the future brides out there may now realize their dream of getting
whisked off from the wedding ceremonies to the wedding reception. There
will be no need to have to travel hours to get to the reception venue, and
run the risk of getting trapped in dreadful traffic – leaving your poor guests
waiting, not to mention starving!
The chapel can likewise serve as a venue for ceremonies and commemorations of other milestones in a Catholic’s life.
Who will be the first lucky bride to march down the Highlands Wedding
Chapel’s aisle?
