For one, it will be relaunching its funicular railway that serves as a mode of transportation from the Belle View area to the Madre de Dios Chapel or Midlands Walk. The Swiss-made tram cuts guests’ and residents’ travel time by 5 minutes and enables one to enjoy the sights from Tagaytay Highlands. “It’s a tram like no other in the Philippines,” noted Jaime S. Humarang Jr., marketing communications director of Tagaytay Highlands.
“For 2019, we’re going to be completing all the renovations,” Humarang disclosed. “Those are for the amenities that are not only functional but are also recreational. We have a lot of restaurants and additional facilities in the sports center like a kiddie play place, an entire floor devoted to kids. We’re opening new coffee shops in 2019, which are locally developed, just in Highlands,” he explained.
Four new projects will be launched this year, a combination of lots and condominium units.
